Making the pore cleansing mask or the bubble mask at home
Most of the ingredients that you would need to create a DIY bubble mask are already available in your kitchen cupboard. The ones that are not can be procured easily from the local grocery store. Lets have a look at the ingredients:
- 2 Teaspoons Bentonite Clay
- 1/2 Teaspoon Matcha Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Charcoal
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Citric Acid
- 1/2 Teaspoon Glycerin
- 2 Teaspoons Water
- A bowl and some spoons to mix and measure
In the bowl, mix all the dry ingredients one by one. Once they are mixed thoroughly, you can put in the glycerin followed by water. You might need more than 2 teaspoons of water depending on how easy it will be for you to use the pore cleansing mask. Once all the ingredients are mixed, the mask will be black in color and bubbles will start to appear on it.

Using the DIY bubble mask
To use the mask, make sure your face is clean and all the makeup has been removed from it. Then just scoop a little amount of the mask from the bowl and apply on the face. Avoid the area near the eyes and the nose because the mask will start expanding once the bubbles are formed. Try to smoothen it as much as possible. Your face might feel a little itchy after application but bear with it. This is the result of the bubbles getting activated.
The best part about this DIY bubble mask is that you do not need to wait for it to dry up. You need to keep it on the face for about 5 minutes. Just before washing off the mask, gently rub the bubbles down on the skin. This action will ensure a deeper exfoliation leaving the skin cleaner and softer. Wash it off with water. The mask will lather up while you are washing up. Pat the face dry and the results of the bubble are there for you to feel and see. You will be surprised with the bubble mask benefits on your skin.
