On asking her, she made a statement with a very big smile on her face that she was extremely glad to fit again in her old jeans. She after delivery ate a lot of ghee made items and drank a lot of whole milk that made her put on so much of weight. But, after her baby turned 5 and half months, she started her fitness routine once again. Knowing the fact that the very core of mother’s body becomes extremely weak, she kept it light initially and did cross-fit for an hour, four days a week and her all-time favorite Yoga once in a week time.
She accepts that she herself observed an extreme loss of body strength after delivery of Vivaan, her son. Where she used to do 50 crunches at once combined with a vigorous running, after his birth she was able to manage only 10 crunches and around 2 minutes running. Still she managed to lose weight, approximately 3 kgs, in the very first month of exercising and 18 kgs she shed in the next 3 months. This much she did by only exercising and yoga, known as Shilpa Shetty yoga, practices along with a balanced diet plan. She is strictly against dieting. Once she did it and ended up gaining 3 kgs instead of losing weight. She’s health freak and always takes care of what is being cooked in her home. - The celebrity likes to have protein rich breakfast. She begins her day with amla juice and then after workout chooses to have papaya, porridge, banana or eggs followed by a cup of tea.
- During lunch time, she opts for fish, eggs or dal and veggies and chapattis along with buttermilk.
- As for snack, she eats up either a turkey with an egg sandwich or simply boiled sprouts along with a cup of tea containing brown sugar.
